The Eurasier was developed to be a family companion, and that remains our primary focus. We believe that sound temperament, confidence, and trainability should be demonstrated, not assumed. Active participation in AKC events is an important part of the breed's journey toward full AKC recognition, helping document the qualities that define the breed and increase its visibility. Because Foundation Stock Service (FSS) Open Shows are limited in the western United States, opportunities to compete in conformation are not always readily available. In the meantime, we actively participate in AKC agility, where our dogs can demonstrate the confidence, stability, trainability, and teamwork that make Eurasiers such exceptional companions. When conformation opportunities are available, we are excited to participate and continue supporting the breed's progress toward full AKC recognition.
